2. APPLICATIONS OF SILICONE COATED PAPER

• Interleave Paper: Interleave paper, also known as interleaving sheets, is used as a protective layer between products to prevent damage during handling, shipping, or storage. This type of paper is commonly used to prevent abrasion, scratching, or sticking when products are stacked or layered.
  • Textiles and Fabrics interleaving: Silicone-coated paper is also used to protect delicate textiles or fabrics from damage during storage or transport. It prevents fabrics from sticking together and helps maintain their appearance.
  • Interleaving between printed sheets: In the printing industry, silicone-coated interleave paper is used between sheets of printed material to prevent them from sticking to each other during drying or handling, such as interleave paper for Heat Transfer Label HTL.

• Release Liner: Silicone-coated paper is frequently used as a release liner for adhesive products like labels, stickers, tapes, and medical or industrial applications. The coating prevents the adhesive from sticking to the paper before it is applied to a surface.
